Meet your artist

Hello everyone and welcome! My name is Rachel and I am the face behind Beauty by Rachel B. I am an on-site, traveling bridal and event makeup artist based in the Kalamazoo, MI area.

My specialty ranges from natural to full glam, neutral makeup. This means, I focus on using more neutral tones (browns, pinks, tans, etc.) to enhance your natural beauty. I also have an obsession with blush and highlight, so if you want to be a blushing, glowing bride, I am your girl! My goal is to create a long-lasting glam that will not budge throughout the sweat and tears on your big day.

My goal as your makeup artist is to not only create a customized, beautiful makeup look, but also to be your hype girl all morning! I want all of my brides to feel confident and beautiful on their big day. I am also present as a helping hand once all of the makeup is complete. Do you need your dress buttoned? Dresses still need to be steamed? Need some candid shots before the photographer arrives? I will be there with you all morning and willing to help with whatever you may need :)

Providing Stress free mornings

The fact is that weddings are stressful. Maybe you needed to stay up late finishing the seating chart or finalizing some decor items. Maybe mother nature decided not to cooperate with you, causing some last minute changes to be made (this happened to me too!). Whatever the case is, when you are in my chair, my goal is to make you feel relaxed, pampered, and excited for your big day.

To help with creating a stress free morning, each of my bookings include a day of schedule. This schedule contains times for each client booking to ensure we stay on schedule. I also include extra time at the end for touch ups as needed. Kick back, relax, have a mimosa and enjoy your pampering session!
